Courier final draft app12/7/2023 Can someone confirm this for me if you're using Windows and previously didn't have Final Draft fonts installed? It should be in there after you've installed Final Draft. In the box that opens, type 'Fonts' and press enter to see if it's there.Press the Windows Key, type 'Run' and hit enter.I think FD does install Courier Final Draft to the fonts folder when you install FD. In your Mac's fonts box, right click the courier Final Draft Fonts and remove them before reinstalling using the method above. If, for some reason, your version of FinalDraft is not embedding the font when you use SAVE AS PDF, then download a free PDF maker like primoPDF and set it up to embed the font. I will, however, check Google's viewer and see what is up with it. Forget about stupid Google and whatever it is doing. If you have FinalDraft, you should use Courier Final Draft, which comes with the program. ![]() ![]() If it says that, your PDF has the font embedded in it. Click FILE / Properties / Font to see if it says something like Courier Final Draft Embedded Subset. Use Adobe Acrobat to see what your PDF file looks like. If Google is doing that, then that is all the more reason not to use the Google viewer. It really should not do this, if the PDF has the font embedded. The skinny font that you see is something that Google substitutes. Virtually every computer in the world comes with the Adobe Reader already installed, and you can always download any newer versions. I am just offering the following comments to try to keep you from needlessly going down the wrong trail.įirst of all, I cannot imagine anyone using Google's PDF viewer, when you can download the Adobe Reader (the absolute standard) for free.
